Description
The character profiles in the very first issue of Gladstone Publishing's "DuckTales" comic book described Webby Vanderquack as having the ambition of becoming the Fourth Nephew. Now as far as I know, they've never mentioned that tidbit anywhere in the cartoon, or even the comic stories, and even if she did have that goal, she probably wouldn't be able to achieve it, seeing how she's obviously not male, nor is an offspring of Donald's seldom-seen sister. But if she did want to be the Fourth Nephew, shouldn't she dress the same way Huey, Dewey & Louie dressed? In fact, this was originally going to be a comic panel with the boys telling her she's taking this "Fourth Nephew" thing too seriously. I eventually decided to just make it a simple drawing because the comic panel would be too time-consuming, and I'm already working on another, much larger, comic anyway.Webby is © Disney.

Actually there was a fake fourth that appeared in the Donald comics. They say he was accidentally drawn in one panel or something. He's name was Phooey.

Too bad Webby hasn't been around anymore...she could've at least appeared in Kingdom Hearts with Donald's nephews.

I like it. The question is, would people be able to tell her apart from the others?
I haven't watched Ducktales in years, even though it used to be my favorite show, but it seems I remember she did dress like them in at least one episode. I don't think it lasted long, though.

Well, in spite of having the same voice actress as the boys (it's Russi Taylor, who also does Minnie Mouse), people probably would be able to diffriantiate her from them since she has a different-sounding voice.
You're saying she actually dressed this way in one episode? Or was she just wearing the same outfit they were? (I do recall her wearing a Junior Woodchucks uniform like theirs in "Merit-Time Adventure".) I gotta see that!

I think she dressed up to look just like the nephews, as in your drawing, but it's been so long that I don't really remember. It could just as easily have been a dream of mine. And yes, hopefully her voice would give her away. I was just joking, since everyone always had such a hard time telling the nephews apart.
