Mario and Sonic have been made rivals for a very long time.but they both make for one cool snapshot (not to toot my own horn)

True, Sonic and Mario has been rivals for a long time since 1991. But... If Mario and Sonic went and fought each other for real, Mario would get smushed and probbaly killed in an instant. Sonic's faster than Mario and he has two Super forms, Super Sonic and Hyper Sonic. So Mario will lose in 0.000000000001 seconds flat if he tried to fight Sonic.

But mario has Metal and Mega which both are invincible and mario can run but not as fast as sonic and sonic has supersonic speed and hyper form of sonic burns twice as rings more than super.

It's his extremely high stamina that could never run out and mario would never get exuasted like that when he is running.

Yep he is fast and while mario is being strong,unexausted and little fast and sonic might have super strength but he physically never uses his hands but with his spin dash ability it is strong enough to rip those metallic robots to shred while mario uses his stomping powers to stomp the crap out of them and you know what sonic's spin dash ability and mario's stomping ability can really pack a power when he jumps high and uses his feet BAM! right into anyone's head or so and when sonic jumps up with his spin dash ability WHAM! right into anyone back or front this is what their abilities are improving.

Sonic already defeated a GOD (Sonic Adventure) and maybe even more
Mario mostly defeat Bowser in every game to save his princess (Which is way more useful in the comics)
