Except that AoStH Eggman was at least kind of original while Sonic Boom's Eggman is a complete rip-off of Dr. Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb.

Shadow was a bit weak in Boom. He just showed up, fought, then left. Sorry to say that. But he was better than the main 5. I'll give him that.

despicable me had a better portrayal of eggman than either of these shows.
gru is an eggman expy.
for one, both seem to commit evil acts less because they want to inflict misery, and more because they crave attention and media spotlight. both had horrible mums. the extent of how bad they where wasn't explored, we didn't see if they actually killed anyone. when gru stole the moon, it probably set off tsunamis, and damaged the environment, who else damages the environment to gain respect? eggman! who damaged the moon to get peoples attention? eggman!
