Description
A new addition to the ever-growing Blacktron arsenal.

The Shrike is a medium-sized robot designed to fill any number of combat roles.
It is armed with a rapid-fire double-barreled spike-cannon (this weapon is what gave gave the machine its name) on one side and a high-yield particle accelerator cannon on the other, making the Shrike perfectly capable to hold its own against both infantry and heavy machinery. Its arms also serve a multitude of functions, one of these being minefield-clearing, another looting.

This guy was a nightmare. Truly. It took ages to get together, and then a couple of more ages to properly photograph. In the end though, I can honestly say that I'm quite satisfied with both the builds and the photos.

Anyway, this was built because I simply HAD to build something (so I asked for some ideas on tumblr and Scøtty showed me that frame). I can safely say, looking at the end result, that this was also quite heavily inspired by some of flyingdebris ' mechs.
