Description It only took like three months but I finally cought a break and finished Frodo!
There's not much to say but I love The Lord of the Rings, it is my favourite story...
it comes pretty close with The Lion King, I can never decide which I love more.
But anyway, I love this shot from the movie because it captures how happy Frodo was
before he went on the tormenting journey to destroy the ring of power.
I'm not 100% happy with this drawing... something went wrong with his face, I'll leave it
up to you people to critique me if you want to.

A4 sized drawing
Time: approx 21 hours
Medium: Derwent Studio coloured pencils with white gel pen and black fineliner
White Rising Stonehenge paper

Hmm. I think it's awesome! Instantly recognizable.

By way of critique, I think that the proportions of his face are slightly off. His nose seems a little longer and narrower in your picture than IRL. His mouth is a bit narrower too, I think?

I still think you did a great job - Elijah Wood is tough to get right.

Thankyou for commenting honestly and yes, I think your right.
The more I look at it the more booboos I see, so annoying! I think symmetrical faces are trickier. I have lots of practice to do!
