Description
This has definitely taught me to practice drawing a wider variety of species. I tried so hard on the face but it still looks sorta canine-ish to me *facepalms*
This is a creature exchange for
I changed my original colour scheme because I thought the colours were a bit too vibrant to pass as albino , which is why this is only a day before the deadline lol .
1 - What parts of your prompt were written well and easy to understand? Was there anything the writer of the prompt could improve on or include next time they create a prompt?
The prompt was very detailed, that moodboard helped a lot! But there were quite a lot of species to incorpirate/think about, so i found it a bit hard to balance it out?Other than that it was pretty interesting to come up with ideas.
2 - Please explain how you interpreted the prompt to create your design. Which features did you use? Did you stick to the chosen palette or make changes to it? Does the design you created have any special abilities or quirks?
So raptors and vultures where the main species for this , so i tried to incorporate both of them ; with raptors forming the majority of the body.Bear feet were mentioned too , so i tried to add those ^^' As for special quirks , I thought having the creature produce it's own mist would be useful , as it is a hunter? I added a visible skeleton to the middle of the back (who's bones is up to you though , I was thinking it would be cool if it collected vertebrae of it's victims but that might be a bit too morbid) and the tip of the tail is supposed to be sharp bone.
Overall I had lot's of fun with this design!I was a bit worried about the colour scheme , and the 'creepy' side of it , but I hope it's a design you can use I am happy to change it if there are parts you don't like though.
The final product looked a bit too friendly , so i did some sketches in the corner to give him a bit of bit
