She had never screamed this loudly before. Fear controlling every thought in her mind. She hid her face in her claws and kneeled on the floor, hoping everything was just a bad nightmare. It could only have been a minute but it felt like hours when she heard Xavier’s voice and the door opening. The grey quad stood before her and looked at her concerned.
„Clover? Are you okay? What happened?“, he asked immediately.
She let her trembling arms sink down and looked up at him, her vision being really blurry.
„My… my… eyes…“, she said while gasping for air, „I’m… turning into a monster!“
„What? No no no! I’ve heard about this before, it’s… uh… well I don’t know what it’s called, but it is just a harmless disease!“
He sat next to her and hugged her to calm her down.
„Please don’t be scared! Dr. F can help you. Everything is going to be fine.“
He tried to wipe the dark goo away and she felt his claws gently brush her cheeks. Her trembling stopped and her thoughts calmed down. Knowing that Xavier was here and wanted to help her gave her some security. But she couldn’t believe his words. Nothing would be fine again. Even if these black tears were only a disease, Dr. F couldn’t cure her from her curse. He couldn’t give her her room back or make all of her mistakes disappear. Her life was about to drastically change and she was so confused and scared. She wanted to keep crying, but she felt exhausted and dried out. She didn’t even consciously register, how she stood up and left the Cranny together with Xavier.

Alright, the biggest chunk of this plot arc is now over, phew. Clover is now open again for interactions! Just please keep in mind, that she is still suffering from runny glands and will be generally a bit down, spend most of the time in her room, drinking tea and washing her face (basically everything that is written on the wyngro site) Also, she will defend Reed (since she thinks that this is all her fault)

I'm going to take a break, because I am exhausted

Fun fact: In the first draft, it was Bough who came to her help, but a certain someone set him ablaze and made him unavailable for the first days after the party...
