I love this one, my friend. It goes into my favorites! I remember reading a children's library book titled, Reynard, the Fox when I was young. One day when my husband and I were out exploring one of Oklahoma's roads, a red fox crossed the road up ahead of us in broad daylight. What a wonderful, colorful sight it was. I am always on the lookout for nature when we are traveling. Another time we saw a coyote. He was getting a drink from a farm pond. We slowed down to get a closer look. As soon as he was aware we were looking at him, he stopped drinking and raced for cover iton some nearby woods. It is unusual to see foxes and coyotes in the daytime. They are more apt to be out at night. I have often seen Pronghorns when we are driving in Texas, New Mexico and Wyoming.

hi joyce
i sent you a reply on Joan Rivers but i think you updated it before i sent you the reply so you may not have got it.
i told you a story about me coming face to face with a fox when walking on a windy day. i was walking into a small wood when coming the other way on the same parth was a fox, not seeing me before i see him/her. i stopped still and watched as the fox kept coming, when about 15 feet away he/she then sore me standing watching, it stopped and looked at me for about 10 secons then turned right and trotted off into the nettles and passed me by. you could see the parth of the fox as it went through the nettels to my right coming out onto the medow i just crossed it trotted across the meadow and into a ditch not to be seen by me again that day.
that made my day to come so close to one i love to see the foxes as a child i was dragged around to watch the fox hounds which i hatted and still do allthough now banned. i have seen fox cubs playing on the same path since both time i never had my camera it seems that if i take a camera i never see any thing if i leave it at home i see everything !!!
sorry if you received first message and i have repeated myself.
hope your well
kev..

It's very cute. Great use of rule of thirds and the amount of detail is wonderful.

I think the colors and shading are great! They really make the fox seem alive! I think the only thing that I would change would be that you seem to have the proportions of the fox' face off. For example, the eye to our left is much smaller than the other one and the nose seems to be skewed and pointed towards the fox' left eye. While your color and shading and texture is great, I think the general base of the fox needs important and should've had more time spent on it because it's really important.
