This is very realistic, yes. I also love how you managed to keep all your lines soft for the fur. I would love to know how you did that!
Because it's a soft look with a realistic aspect.

The fur was painted with a brush i made in cs2 over a flat colour background then in this case i used an orangeΒ  photo-filter over the top.

nice work maybe some more highlight to the border of the fur on the ear could enhanced the final result, but here is just my opinion. good work in all case !

The only thing that bothers me is, that the tree looks like a photo manipulation while the panda looks painted. From the stiyle it is not fitting together so well...

Thanks for your commentΒ  but they are both painted in cs2, i have used no photo textures only cs textures with textured brushes.
i'll try harder.
