I don't know what I had in mind when I first started this, I think I'd issued a singing prompt for friends on Discord. Oh yeah, I remember now- I was going to just do a sketch of Gage's groggy morning singing with him standing with a coffee in-hand, but after that I forget...
So um, to fess up, I did trace the background (again) but this time I made sure the photo was ok to use, so I used a website called Unsplash, which has tons of free, beautiful photos that you can use! I wish I could link the original picture to credit the photographer, but I was unable to find it again.
Anyway I hope you enjoyed this episode of Gage Not Facing the Camera! Tune in at an undetermined time when we put his wings back on!

At one level, you could have done a coffee-in-hand morning singer and connected with a few of us who are groggy morning people; or you could do a pic like this where you show an awesomely creative pose which transports the viewer to a magical place/viewpoint and lifts the artwork out of the mundane, everyday. This is solid linework, great early-morning colors and extraordinary concept; excellent work!!

Favorite song hmm... I have many favorite songs, but there is one that I often listen to when I need to think about something in my life and I think this song is very suitable for this art. but it's in Russian.
