"Ok but imagine if Scourge was also identical to his father, like Firestar was.
Imagine Firestar meeting face-to-face with his identical half-brother, where they look so alike that everyone realised that they are related right away.
Now Firestar loves his kin more than anything, because of how lonely he was in the clan for having no kin in there.
Do you think he’d be able to fight Scourge knowing they were blood? Possibly, possibly not.
Or perhaps imagine what Tallstar would think. He knew that Firestar was Jake’s son from the moment he saw him.
So what if he saw Jake- The kind, brave kittypet he fell in love with- in Scourge- The cruel, cold murderer-? What would he feel?
Let’s not forget that Tallstar made a vow to love and protect Jake’s children as if they were his own. Would he be able to fight against Scourge too, if it meant going back on his promise and to fight with Jake’s carbon copy? In his mind, would he see himself fighting Scourge, or Jake?"
