Deathsong lay watching Icebreath's belly rise and fall as she breathed slowly. A rustle outside of some of the kits playing loudly woke her, her icy blue eyes shot open."What...was that?" She whispered, her fur nearly on end.
"Shhh, it was just the nursery kits," Deathsong answered, stroking his tail down her back and pressing his fur against hers comfortingly.
"Go back to sleep."
Now that Icebreath was going to have kits, Deathsong was grateful for the fact that everyone was taking the time to rest this moon. His scars had nearly all healed now, even the ones given to him by Twopelt. His joints weren't so stiff either, and he thanked StarClan for his swift recovery. Icebreath closed her eyes and Deathsong watched as her breathing slowed to even, deep breaths again. He closed his eyes and drifted to sleep as well, breathing in the scent of his mate.

Oh yeah that's just...a really really weird version of it I guess? The original is called Pet by A Perfect Circle and his voice is what I imagine Deathsong's to be, which is kind of an inside joke between ~MurderousMusic and I, hence the title
