Wow! This is amazing! I'm not an expert on anatomy and such, so I'll give my critique from a viewer's perspective.
I love the subtle play with color here. It gives me the impression that she's only someone's memory, or maybe that she's really not there at all.
The more I look at the darker half, the more it looks like an African lady (or it could be a man, based on the harder brow and larger eye). I don't know if this was the purpose but it gives me a feeling of equality, but at the same time, because the left eye is much darker, it almost gives the appearance of alienation.
If I may, I'd just like to say that you might like to check the positioning and move your subject a little more to the left. To me it looks like there's a lot of empty space there, and my eye tends to run off the image instead of staying on it. I don't know, that might have been your intent, but there's my thoughts.
All in all, a very good piece to get someone thinking. Love it!

I'm pleased with your conclusion, it is very close to what I had hoped to display. I aimed for the shadowed side of her to be a darkness/ mysteriousness of character and you have interpreted that in your own way magnificently!
I agree about her being off centre - she was much more off centre at one point but I made the image thinner. I will make it thinner again on that side since it is still off. Thankyou for letting me know!

I love the windswept effect that was created with the use of shading. I always like it when a piece of art gives the air form
