Interesting, but I doubt that manatees will evolve into more dolphin-like creatures: for one thing, they're too endangered by now, and will probably die-ot in the future.

Their diet is the same which in the present, for that always they are near the coast. Now they are endangered but the captive breeding programs its population did recover.
