Description
For this issue of Dungeon (136) I tried to do something more muted and just to play around with different style, looking for inspiration everywhere, sin city, justin sweet,etc. And ya.. it came out something like this

I like the ambiguity of it- is the dragon charging out of the gate to attack? Defending it from "evil" adventurers? Are BOTH groups fighting over the use of the gate?

Just love how the whole texture and color of the picture really expresses the effect the Plane of Shadow is having on the world. Everything becoming more mute and dull by the invading planar presence.

I threw on so many textures here and there then paint over them and threw more textures down, I don't even remember the process in making this CG lol. Thanks for liking it and btw you got an awesome gallery! hope to see more of your work around!

Beautiful composition! I ADORE the colors, even with such a limited palette, they're very intense. There's a splotch of black to the left in the rocks that may be there because my monitor isn't callibrated like yours, but it looks just a little out of place.
