That is a Ghoul. They paralyze with a touch and will eat most anything, like any other cadaverous undead. In my groups DnD adventures, they are a somewhat lower level monster but arrive in packs and work together. Their paralyzing touch last for 1d4 rounds [roll a 4 sided die] and that combined with their number is why they are dangerous. And knowing is half the battle
