"This is a starved, sneaky, sinister-looking new kind of smaller dragon. We want this type of dragon to kind of be the assassins of dragon-kind, being scary and sneaky looking. This is a dragon that sneaks up on you in the night, and you get once glimpse of its terrible face before being snapped up.
The umbral dragon has shinny black scales, but it looks like it has eaten for months, making it lithe and skeletally thin"

I agree, ribs are a crucial part of skinny things. also, having protruding shoulder blades would seem more "starvation" ish.

It's a very cool idea, but I think it could do with more ribs, bigger claws and skinnier neck... something like a catwalk model I guess.

i was in school for a bit but the one i went to wasn't pushing me enough. so now im doing freelance and looking for another school to attend. i was looking at SCAD, their teachers are amaaazing! what school did you go to again? i think i saw it on weewung awhile back. i wanna look into it

But I hardly went to class haha, from my exp, I didn't learn much at school, but what helped me the most was just working with the other fellow students, that type of learning environment is like once in a life time type experience. but i think you don't need school anyways ur stuff's rockin!

I can even almost guarantee u'll pwn soon, there's no rush to jump into a job or anything anyways, once job,etc starts that's when art just becomes work and the passion turns into something strange. keep up the awesome work! you should try like a complete ilo piece, char bg scene and everything, it'd rock! , where're u from btw?

me, i'm from philadelphia. and it's interesting you said that, because i always wondered how it felt just to draw on the job. like, am i going to hate it? it IS work. but yeah i've been kinda dodging the landscapes, vehicles and anthros a bit. i'm definitely doing some first-hand studies and last-minute in that dept.
