I did. D:I'm tired of working on it. I was trying to make it look like they're lying under a shady tree, but...
Ehhhhhhhh. Not so good at shading yet. I'M PRACTICING.

This is unbelievably adorable. So adorable. And so them. Bahaha. You did such a great job on their facial features, especially their noses. Both of them look exactly how they should. And their poses! It's just so--HNNGGGHH. I love it. Love it, love it, love it. And I think Jack looks like Jack! And Nikki is sooooo cute. I'm . . . definitely going to have to try drawing her more like this, because yes. DIRECTION.

I think the shading of the skin looks good! I think it's the technique that I like. 
Either way, I really love this. It is so cute. Geeking out over here. Ā

I seriously effed up the lines, dude. I effed them uuuuup. PFFT.
I sketched it out all rough and gesture-like first, then I traced over that, then when I started coloring I hated the way the sharp lines looked so I smudged/blurred them and traced over them in certain areas, and then I got two of the layers confused when I was doing the tree shading and muddled up the area where their hands are.
I was just getting frustrated and didn't want to work on it any more, and it's just a speed...painting...doodle thing, so I uploaded it.

Oh my god, I've done that before. It is such a pain in the ass, because then you have all these freaking layers open, and you've started coloring and you're just like, "WHERE THE FUCK ARE MY LINES, AHHMAHHGAWDD," so you just color where you're not supposed to and then you might go to erase something or whatever the hell, but it's not the right layer, so you're freaking searching through all the layers for the right one and---and it's a mess. PFFTT. That sucks. Bahhh. That's why I've decided that from now on I have to be super content with the lines before I start coloring and then flatten the lines so they're all on one layer . . . unless it's just messy sketching or whatever. Then I don't really care. 
But I like it anyway. I think it turned out good, even if it frustrated the hell out of you. It's adorable. Bahahaa. c:Ā

Usually I draw and ink my lines traditionally and then color it, and it's way less of a hassle. But today I was like like, "I'm gonna open a blank file and just go for it!"
Yeah. I think it turned out okay, but I just can't draw nice lines with my tablet. Just can't do it.

Sometimes I still do that, but I'm transitioning to just pencils, scan it, and then go back over it in digital lines. Hopefully I can get comfortable with just drawing straight into Photoshop. D8Ā
BUT YEAH! For just opening up a document and going for it all digital? Yeah, it's really freaking good, dude. I can't do that. PFFT.

I'm going to start taking advantage of the cintiqs. I don't usually use them because all of my classes up to this point have been traditional, so I didn't have to, but I think I have a digital coloring class next quarter.

i like the color on this a lot, especially their faces! What characters are these? Looks kind of like Gage but I could be wrong asdghjkl;;;; Also it does look like they are under a tree so I think you succeeded in that. The only critique I could give is that I feel like their heads are a bit too large for their bodies unless that was the look you were going for. Because I know I draw my Tim heads bigger than normal.

I knooooow I couldn't fix it. Every time I draw Jack his head turns out bigger than his body, because I'm aware that he's supposed to be super slim and his head just... turns out too big. LOL
I can't draw Jack. But I try. XD
I'm not happy with this because I accidentally got some layers confused and the colors turned out kind of muddled in places. But I was just seriously polishing a turd after spending like five hours on it, so I'm like, "Feeehhhh, I'm just gonna upload it."

lol You can always go back later when your less frustrated with it and redo it, or just the coloring.
"polishing a turd" i love that phrase i feel that goes for more than half of my art gallery.
Whose the girl? And I always get Jack and Gage confused! Finn is easy to distinguish though. Jack is the really tall one and Gage plays the guitar and dates Jackie right?

I think I'm just going to leave it. It doesn't really have any finished lines because I was speed painting.

Yeah! Nikki seems to change a bit, i think its just the hair color because you and Cassie(cassey?idk) color it a bit different. Does she have red or brown hair? I've seen both. I think I get Jack and Gage confused because they have similar hair, but full body you can definitely tell since Jack is so tall and lanky.

Nikki has like, big fluffy caramel brown hair. So it's reddish, but it's supposed to be brown.
I knooooow. The problem is that I can draw Gage, but I can't draw Jack, and Casey can draw Jack, but she can't draw Gage. So whenever either of us draw them, they don't look like themselves. LOL

Ahh lol xD you'll get the hang of it. I can NEVER draw Haku or Kite right and I have difficulties drawing Kyle consistently.
