V&O 6000 (Ex-CSXT 8700 EMD SD60. Originally built by EMD in October of 1989 for CSX being among a group of 8 SD60s purchased by CSX due to CSX having many issues with the problematic EMD SD50s acquired from both SBD and CHS upon founding in 1986. CSX would acquire another 14 SD60s from Conrail in 1999 with two of these being two of the four original Demonstrator SD60s built by EMD for Demonstration Purposes in July of 1984. CSX would sell five of their eight SD60s in 2017 when CSX began “The Classic Purge” between 2014-2018 when Hunter E. Harrison was in charge of CSX. CSX would sell the remaining four units to LTEX in 2018. Today V&O 6000-6005 being formerly CSX 8700-8705 now having been repainted can still be seen today running freight and intermodal trains through the V&O’s System)
