Why is linearting hard? Isn't it as easy as doodling?

True, but you can draw like simpler doodles with lineart and the vectorize them.

It takes a looong looooong time if you don't know how to do it right the first time... But I shade with the same color I did the lineart with on a low density partially soft brush on SAI... So, basically, just scribbling lightly with your liner. o3o;;
