Description

An early offshoot of the line that gave rise to the ferrocutotherium and the diabloceros also produced the much more graceful ligoceros. This large herbivore is easily recognisable thanks to its large crest of compacted hair. Despite appearances, the ligoceros is highly intelligent and has several different vocal calls with which it communicates with other members of its herd. While the ferrocutotherium and the diabloceros employ sharp horns to protect them from predators, the ligoceros only has its speed and agility and although it still has tough hide, the ligoceros has very little protection from the island’s carnivores.
