Personality
Nagisa parades as an enigma, always a bit out of touch with reality. He fluctuates between sweet and sour, having a rather lackadaisical personality, but cares obsessively about specific, intimate things. A sensory person, he is friendly and seeks to be familiar with people quickly, and enjoys teasing in good spirit. However, he will rarely get too close because he feels that it is useless to do so.

Nagisa is more attuned to his surroundings and others than he’d like to admit, however dislikes interfering, preferring to stay on the sidelines. “Let sleeping dogs lie” is his motto. He acts compliant even if he feels otherwise, used to being unable to force change. Due to this, much of what Nagisa says is insincere, and he never makes a promise as he is rather flaky. Usually a disorganized mess in his personal life, Nagisa spends his time indulging in daydreams instead of dealing with reality.

History
Born in a traditional household with a long history, Nagisa is second in line to inheritance of succession. Most of his upbringing was still set in stone the moment he was born. Beginning at a very young age, he was trained to do all manner of things from paperwork to household duties. Due to this, he developed a habit of constantly daydreaming while doing work in order to get through things faster. Having some artistic talent, Nagisa was able to gain the support of his mother, and could afford to spend more time on it in-between his busy schedule. Art lessons were the most fun he had as a child, and even now he still happily recalls his memories of back then. He looked on in envy of his classmates who seemed to lead much more fulfilling lives, however kept his head down, figuring that once he became an adult he would be able to pursue his own lofty goals.

When he hit his teenage years, his responsibility within the family grew, and he fervently made secret plants to leave. Tragedy struck, his older cousin passing away in an unfortunate incident. This meant succession automatically passed to him, and when the time came, he would become both head of the family and heir to the Japanese branch of the family business. A multinational corporation, the Sato Group is a large heavy industrial manufacturer of military and civilian firearms, as well as farming and construction equipment. The fact that Nagisa would spend the rest of his life under pressure slowly crept up on him, regardless, he always held a flame of hope.

Halfway to adulthood, his family dictated that he would enter an arranged marriage to tie stronger connections to another household upon Nagisa reaching majority. Desperate, Nagisa would do it upon the condition that he would be able to finish at a high school of his choosing and his family agreed so he would silently accept his fate when the time came. Searching for one in the south, the furthest distance from the reach of his family in the north, Nagisa transferred to Kakumu High in his final year. Maybe it is possible to escape fate.

OTHER
His favorite ‘people’ are his two pet rabbits, Junnie and Luna.

Has an appreciation for fine arts and music, however enjoys reading manga the most. Finds English music very exciting.

Nagisa likes using make up and thinks of it as an armor. He believes that what you feel is shown on your face, so he hides it all. Wants to try brighter makeup however thinks it wouldn’t suit him.

Skilled in flower arrangement and tea ceremony, considers them extracurriculars that he doesn’t particularly care for.

Practiced in shooting ranges often as part of training. Nagisa never enjoyed it, but feels it could be useful in the future.

Has an estranged older brother who he wants to reach out to. Nagisa doesn’t get along with his father at all as a result of what happened between his brother and his parents.
