Oh hey, actually posting a finished drawing this month... and it's not on the 31st, lol.


Random character, as always. Even deities in fantasy worlds can procrastinate on their work. I wanted to do another underwater scene, but everything felt too similar to the picture I did with the merman before, and I also draw starry night skies often... so I ended up doing a blend of the two? Kind of. I regret adding the snake lol, but by the time my patience ran out, it was too late to abandon the drawing. Something about this all still feels off to me and I can't pinpoint it, but eh. It was still fun to work on.


And in case you couldn't guess - no, the fish are not based on any actual fish. P:

Something like that I think we can all relate, lol.


Tbh I just wanted to draw some oversized creature, so I chose a snake (because I wanted to have a variety of animal types represented) and then I regretted it because they're so awkward to draw. How shiny noodle so complicated?? Safe to say I'm not going to draw something like this again, at least for a very long time, but I'll keep the feedback in mind haha.


Thank youu <3 I just love drawing long hair, it's so much fun. Can't stop myself. The horns were another thing to make him more 'deity-like', and I did almost get rid of them but I couldn't think of a good substitute. I'm glad the hands at least look like hands though lmao, I hated working on them so much. Not quite perfect I think, but it's as close as I'll get without losing my sanity.

This seems like such a magical place where the fish can float but it's not wet enough to tear the paper. Maybe he is writing the history of the world and whatever he writes will happen. This would make for an interesting creation myth set in time of back when the elements of air and water still hadn't been separated!
