Yesterday I finished Firefly and now I'm in a hole of desperation and sadness because this show is fucking amazing and it's very sad it got cancelled.Here is my favourite character on the show: Wash, the pilot.
Hope you like it!
Took me 4 hours and I used my hand, SAI and PSC6.

I am holding a charity fundraising event themed on Joss Whedon's Firefly/Serenity and Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog, called Can't Stop the Serenity.
I don't suppose you would be interested in contributing original artwork (copies or originals) to sell / raffle off at the event in aid of charity. 75% of proceeds goes to Equality Now, 25% to local childrens charity The Archie Foundation.
The event is held in Aberdeen, UK on 14th September

Of course I would be interested in contribute with your cause. Feel free to sell my artwork. It will be an honor as long as you give me some credit for it.

If you would like to edit it with Cant Stop The Serenity 2014, just to make it a bit more specific to the event/cause itself, go ahead, but this is down to personal preference. Naturally you will get full credit, and I will let you know how much we raised.
You can contribute work in two ways, either mailing items to me (address below) or emailing a pdf, jpeg or png file with instructions on how to print (size, number of copies allowed to use etc).
Attendees like something physical to see and go away with at the end of the event, and a true one-off rather than a print would probably get more interest. Please be aware printing capabilities are limited to A3 or A4 printer paper due to budget.
Receipt of any donations before start of September would be appreciated, so we can organise things as well as give time for the delivery service.

Firefly is about life. Being free to do what you want. If you're sad that they're not making more you miss a big point of the show... If they made more shows, then all those secrets never revealed would become solid and not so mysterious. THEN you could be sad... as it is, now they wide open potential for people to fill... I mean dam, look at Star Wars... besides the clone wars, what was the last movie they put out? RotJ... and how many YEARS has it been? 20+? Firefly's about life and freedom the way it should be, not the way people want it to be... that would be very Union I think... Live free brown coat.

Joss has a very special ability to cram a huge amount of story into his shows and do completely the opposite of you'd expect him to do. Book, well, you can definitely gleam a story outta what's been played. I'm thinking retired operative.
