Description
Third in the Cowboy Bebop character poster series.I imagine there's a very short list of guys who could actually play Jet. Whether Vin is on that list, I'll leave to you.

if anyone has the built and the chops (dare i say) to play a anime father figure bounty hunter ex-cop i think its Vin. would love to see how they do the arm in CGI (nice try)

Yeah, but he still comes off as a young guy, Jet has that seasoned cop/wise fatherly nature about him, I just don't see Vin playing anyone like that.

I really think that Vin Diesel could pull off the older, father-like veteran character. And I'm certainly glad that you don't want Megan Fox to play Faye. Although, if that's true, I can't imagine why you would make a poster of her as Faye. Only an observation, not meant to be offensive. I, personally, am going to wait for the movie to come out. And if they screw it up, no one will be surprised, we can all just never watch it again, and that will be that. I really do like the idea of Vin as Jet, though. I never would have thought of casting him.

Why cast Fox as Faye? Well, for laughs, really. Given the overall sour reaction to the news of Keanu Reeves playing Spike, I thought I'd pass on a "oh, it can get worse" bit of casting.
Upon seeing the Faye poster, a friend noted, "You bastard. You should have cast Olivia Wilde." And frankly, I can't fault his logic.

I see. Well, I don't think I've seen any of Olivia Wilde's films, but I'm sure she'd be a damn sight better as Faye than Megan Annoying-Bitch Fox. I really do like the idea of Vin Deisel as Jet, though, so no one can fault your logic there.

Man I love the hell out of this design.
Jeff Bridges woulda been my choice. It'd be taking some creative liberties with the character's age, sure, but I think he'd do a good job playing the character and in all likelihood it'll be Keanu's movie, so Jet won't have to do too many action sequences.
