The second in my Cowboy Bebop character poster series.I do not endorse the casting of Megan Fox as Faye Valentine. Just to be clear.

Megan Fox is not this character. She is said to be hot, but she's not badass enough for the role. On the other hand I can't come up with anybody else right at the moment.

Please not Megan Fox for Faye...ohh why I feel that this movie will be a fail? Hollywood have a tendency to very screw up famous franchises...I want to see Jessica Alba or other far more talented actress as Faye.

It's intentionally bad casting. Because fans aren't exactly happy about Keanu Reeves wanting to play Spike. Perhaps you'll notice the bold type in the artist comments reading "I do not endorse this casting."

I really like this. Though, I can't see Megan Fox playing Faye, their faces in my view just don't shape the same way, I still like this nonetheless. It's a cool idea.

I don't think M Fox has near the acting chops to be able to pull off the dynamic character that is Faye but I will swallow my distaste for her to say this: Awesome overall design on all these and the poster of them all together makes me all kinds of impatient for 2011 to get here so I can watch the movie.

Great job with making Megan be able to look passable as Faye. I hardly recognize her. I could possibly gnaw off my left leg if she is cast because I really don't like her personality or acting. But, this is once again an awesome poster.

I picked Megan Fox as Faye myself even though I don't think she'd be the best for the part, I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head and she's a likely casting pic. Plus I'm sure she'd fill out the costume well (and her look actually does have that mix between sexy and trashy that I imagine Faye would have. I know it's not canon but her Marilyn Monroe tattoo would fit in well in my mind).
Love the colour choices, and I haven't said this in response to these posters yet but I'll say it now that I love the look the people are rendered in, a nice halfway point between anime style and high-contrast photography.

Well, it might not be AS short as on the show, but I suppose it could work... I guess it's more of making her feel like Faye than totally matching... though she would have to have the outfit.

I sortof want them find like a fresh set of people to play the roles, though. but i'm more scared with the storyline because that's what i've admired with the anime so much. i think i'm gonna cry if they mess that up.
i mean, with the right stylists, anybody can look like anybody.

The storyline is great, but each episode felt like a totally different movie... that's the part that's throwing me about a film adaptation: how do you do something that was different every single time?

i think they're gonna write their own plot. like what the real creators did with the movie. totally unrelated to the series plotline but has the same characters.

I'm sure... I just think it's going to be a challenge to nail down the feel of a series that had such a variety of style.
I wonder where the script is... last I had heard (which was ages ago), it was done but was ridiculously cost-prohibitive. But everyone was in it. "Everyone is in it."

But whatever happens, I think it's gonna be at least bearable to watch because the people behind the series are going to be the producers for the movie. Like they're not just handing everything to Hollywood.
