- I don't understand what you mean by you owning the design after I buy it, would I not own the design?? Do you mean the design is originally created by you??
- We hoped that if we bought her, we'd have rights to her and what she is.
- Of course you'd get credit for original design, though again I am confused as to what you mean by we can do w/e we want to/with her but you own the design so how can we do anything with her??

"design and species belongs me", - it means that I'm author of the creature (it's not resale), and if buyer wanna sell it, he/she should mention that I'm the designer of creature or his original appearance (if it was changed).
And I don't want that future buyers use this adopt for clones, species, childrens (if they will looks as my adopt and will be sold).
These rules need for my draws don't be assigned and adoptables stay original.
It's worth saying, I sell some creatures with (absolutely) all rights sometimes, it includes: creating a species, childrens, sent on contest as his own, etc)

That's unfortunate, we did not want others to have the same species or too similar of a character since my wife wanted to make her a close character, but unique - being a unique character is all.

Oh, you didn't undestand or I could't explain clearly (sorry my english is very bad). Rules don't let to create clones and species by buyers and I will not draw other adopts like this too, becouse this adopt is not a spesies and exists in 1 exemplar. In short, original adopt.
If adoptable was a species (and has other brethren) I would write this in description. For now I havn't own species and sold my adopts as original, so don't be afraid, this beast is the one and will never have clones.
