A dark horse in the tournament, Kokoro had shocked the world by making it this far. She had upset many championship contenders with her ruthless aggression and unstoppable offense.
Unfortunately for her, Marie was prepared for her attacks. While the Swedish girl was not particularly strong, she was fast and smart. She had studied Kokoro’s previous fights and noticed that she primarily targeted her opponents head.
As a result, Marie anticipated Kokoro’s first attack would be a high punch, and countered it easily. Using Kokoro’s now useless arm as leverage, she turned and struck the Geisha’s vulnerable midriff with her elbow.
