Desperate to escape her vulnerable position, Marie lashed out with a panicked jab. Quick to react, Kokoro dropped her opponent’s leg and sidestepped out of the way. Without missing a beat she smoothly transitioned her sidestep into a powerful reverse roundhouse kick that collided with Marie’s unguarded head with a resounding thud. Kokoro was pleasantly surprised as Marie crumpled to the ground, perhaps this would be a quick fight after all…
