Nicely used sharpies! I've never been able to draw with them, it always looks so blunt and not quite fine, but you totally nailed it! Plus, love the dogs. Remindes me of Hagrid's Fluffy for some reason ^-^Β

Thanks! I mostly use Promarkers when I want to add color, or even sometimes for shading. Maybe I'll give Sharpies a go! :-P

Ever used Prismacolor markers??
Hollyyy shit they're literal godsend.
If you wanna mess with Sharpies, totally layer colors as much as you can, it gives so much dimension.
Like, for example: if you're using red as a base color, use light purple for shadows and yellow for highlights, oranges to transition between red and yellow better etc.
(You don't have to listen to anything I say about how to draw btw, it's just how I did it ahaha)
Also, I learned, let the ink dry completely before adding any other colors. That's how the fur in this piece is so priiiiiimmmo

But yeah, Promarkers are LIFE. They are alcohol-based and they have like a see-through marker that you can use to make the transitions between colors so very smooth! They also have brighter colors, if you're interested in something a bit lighter for your future stuff
