Wow..... I'm so pleased with this one. The original photo was taken by and I feel very priveleged to have been granted permission to draw it! She's a truly amazing photographer!
I've been sitting out in the morning sun on our deck, in shorts and t-shirt, with my dog half asleep beside me, because it's such a beautiful day. The birds are singing, and the air is so warm today! Ahhh *sighs* so peaceful.

The part of this that I am most proud of, would have to be the fine strands of hair. To do that, what I did was cut my eraser in half (since it's just a lil cheap one) and you use the sharp corners to erase tiny lines, resulting in the thin white hairs!

Time Taken: 3hrs
Medium: B, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 7B, 8B, blending stick and my (chopped up) eraser.
