just uploading some of my older images at the request of people that missed seeing them here... no need to comment on them as most of you had before already. i'll be uploading a few more soon. so for those of you who say - hey i've seen this somewhere before - you did...The image of the girl is copyright and courtesy of craig morey. please visit his site @ [link]
i had a lot of comments on this piece - such as the texturing isnt on the whole body and her mouth is missing and looks too smooth. i suppose sometimes people need to know the back end thoughts behind and image... you see she is not human with tentecales - she is a shape shifter and we've caught her in mid shift
i have nightmares everynight - i have all my life - it is where my art is birthed and drug kicking and screaming into this world...

even though this is an amazing and beautiful picture,
the fact that youve placed the brightest part of the picture in the center,
makes this picture compositionally uninteresting.
im not trying to insult you at all- it is not my intention-
you are much much more talented than i am,
i merely want to point out,
that if you had hung the figure on a different part of the page,
it would have been that much better.

by the look of the thumbnail I thought it would look scary. but it doesn't. it's more... tragic?! I don't know. a sad thing to look at. resignation in the creature's eyes. coldness of its stare. while looking at it I hear Danzig's "Her Black Wings"... that scratch on the wall, on the right - what does it say? or it's just a doodle?

I'm loving the python skin overlay on the lower torso. The Matrix-esque mouth is a nice added touch. The backdrop is great.
Those wings... lemme tell ya, look very realistic. Too bad they look like a dead bird though I like birds

I'm still a newbie around here, so I haven't seen this before. I usually dislike dark art, but this I like a lot, since it has more symbolism and isn't so aggressive on the viewer. Very dreamlike image.
