Director's Commentary: Just trying to get more used to ‘clumps’ of action scenes being put together in not so ‘square format’, at least not all the time. The 1st scene is inspired by the slide under move from the Assassin’s Creed series and thus, u see why Bloom is kneeling up and that’s how she got back her sword quickly. 2nd scene is when Bloom’s jeans get dragged by Duman’s bear paw. My excuse for Bloom’s clothing not ripping is due to ‘Stella’s touch’ from FLM CH 7. Plus, I think Duman’s bear form focuses on its prowess (again, scare tactics) and attack power. However, not inflict small and quick injuries like slicing or cutting, such as demonstrated from his hawk form. Another thing for bears is that they’re omnivores and, actually, they prefer more on the veggie side of their menu than meat in general. So, I don’t see stuff like their claws and teeth to, again, be as sharp as a hawk’s talons for instance.
Why doesn’t Duman just ‘finish’ Bloom off here seeing that his bear form should be one of his ‘aces’?
Again, we’re not trying to ‘kill’ ppl. And remember, Duman’s still pissed on Bloom’s actions inflicted on him so far.
