Hi Guys!
Here is a new exciting contest as promised - this time for a really big reward.
The only thing you will need to do to win the big prize is to draw my cat, Destin.
Please read the terms and conditions before you enter!
There are two categories you can enter into (you may enter in both as many times as you wish):
1. Portrait
The category name tells you everything you need to know. Create a portrait of Destin.
In this category the priorities are in the attention to detail; Colours, techniques, background, lights - every single little thing matters.
All visual art styles are welcome! - Digital, traditional, handcrafted dolls, paper cutouts, anything you can imagine. It can be full body, half body, a close up or even just one super close up (for example: only the eyes, nose, etc).
No literature this time, sorry! I will host an event for written pieces l «- This is the cat who you have to draw.
Anyway, I felt like drawing another quicky. It is so much fun to draw in this semi-real style, I think you will see more like this from me soon.

Were you successful at getting your Kormi into your house or is she an outdoor cat?
We were never able to get Kitten to be comfortable inside. She only wanted to be inside on the coldest days of the winter and even then she never wanted to spend the night inside only a few hours to warm up and then she wanted back out.

Very similar situation! She doesn't want to come inside, but we did set up for her a very nice outside place for the winter and she is enjoying that at least.

That's nice that you made her a warm place for the winter. I'm sure you also worry about her getting caught by wild animals or hit by cars or in fights with the other cats in the neighborhood. I never had those worries since I was just a child, but I know my mother worried about those sorts of things and I would now if we had any outdoor cats at this point. All of our current cats are strictly indoor cats.

I have an indoor cat too, Destin.
And yes, I am worried and would be really sad if anything would happen with Kormi. But she was ok for more then 6 years now, so I hope she knows how to take care of herself.
