When I saw cover arts of the horus heresy books I was like "WHAT? Doesn't he suppose to be beautiful or something? He looks hideous!"

Hey - even his model has hideous face!

This is maybe first picture (oh, well first TWO pictures, as long as the old version is beautiful, too), where he actually looks like they describe him in books. I really hope you'll finish it someday.
