Description
This is the 5.56 Meteor. It pushes an 87-grain, 5.56mm bullet at 2800 f/s from a 15.25-inch barrel. The bullet is highly frangible, with a cross-shaped jacket compromise in the tip for enhanced fragmentation. It's highly streamlined, unlike the Mk. 262 Black Hills 5.56s, and has a higher BC and speed. It uses a solid propellant with a channel in the center for controlled burning. It will not fit in an M16 MOAL.
