Description ***I am no longer taking any cosplay commissions.
Sorry for any inconvenience.***

A commission of Rosette Christopher from Chrono Crusade.

This was a fun project and relatively fast once I started because I had already made one for myself. However, this one is a heck of a lot nicer then mine (and more accurate).

The habit is made from a stretch cotton, so it is very comfortable to wear and fully washable. The shoulder crosses are attached with velcro so they can be easily removed.
The corset is fully lined and zips up the back.
I even made the little bloomers which are so cute! ^_^

I'm rather excited to be able to see this costume again as the client is wearing it to Sakura-con. I hope I can get some Chrono Crusade group photos with her

WHHUUUP! Just caught a glimpse of your Journal. Instead might I ask what material you used to make the corset-thing and if you used any specific patterns for the costume? If you don't mind me asking.

I used a cotton twill for the corset, both on the outside and for the lining. I didn't have to interface it because two layers just makes it stiff enough.
I drafted the pattern for it myself, but I have seen similar costume patterns out there. Try Simplicity costume patterns, they tend to have the best ones You may have to do some pattern altering, but that's where I started and it's a great way to learn.

Okay, I have not gotten the chance to tell you how amazing this is yet-

My word, you're just so talented! -^____^- I've always wanted to try cosplaying Rosette. Chrono Crusade was actually the first anime I'd ever watched, and I still can't find any other characters that look more like me. We have the same body type, same facial structure, same HAIRSTYLE (Yes, it's that creepy) and she's so much fun! All of that 1930s slang?! HECK yes! Bee's knee's, Cat's pajama's, It'll be duck soup/jake... Awww... How awesome. :3

I would LOVE to get a cosplay group together someday! *glee!*

Of course, that would entail me actually creating an outfit and going to a con... XD Just watch, it'll be sloppy stitching and satin all the way! XD
(That and being horrified by men dressed as Faye once I get to the con... ^^'

You should totally cosplay Rosette! (just don't use satin, though I'm pretty sure you were joking )
And don't worry, cons aren't that scary. And I've only ever seen one man-Faye, and he was just funny, lol.
So, you should go, and cosplay, because it's just too much fun to miss out

I really would love to sometime! ^^ But then I'd have to make a costume... And I don't know the first thing there is to know about sewing! XD I want my first cosplay to be done really well- I feel I wouldn't be doing the characters justice otherwise... (And yes, I was joking about the satin. :3)
That and I 'd want to go to a con with a group, or at LEAST someone else.. Preferrably someone who's been to a con before, so I sortof know what I'm doing. XD

Ooooh but I wish I could! :'( I will- SOMEDAY! I live in Michigan around Detroit, and it's really hard finding cons around this area! T_T *weep*

Oh, and to answer your question; no, the wig is just my own used for display. I would assume the cosplayer will supply her own wig, as I don't do wigs
