Description
This shows off the dragons on the sleeves a bit better.The dragons were designed and screen printed by me, and the kimono was made by me. I made it back in my final year of school, and it's been sitting in my closet till this day.
I made the under robe and the obi as well.

The trick is just using a lot more then you think looks good in the mirror, and then it will look just right in photos with the full costume. That and just playing around with it with different wigs. It's a great thing to do on a rainy day

My boots totally don't go with the costume, but I needed something that didn't look like snow boots, but kept my feet dry. My sandals just don't cut it in the snow

I'm sure I'm breaking a million kimono rules with my kimonos. But I do know that I purposely made this one with shorter sleeves because I'm married. Though I'm still not sure if they are short enough. At least hey are not super long like the young maidens wear

Wow that definitely is gorgeous! Smudged (as I read in the other photo) or not, wow. The colors are really nice, and the dragon design itself is very nice! (oooh, should submit that to one of the dragon-based newsletters here in DA! this would be a very original addition to them!)
