LAWL so i've finally jumped on the Bleach bandwagon >u>Anywho, myself (obvs) as a Shinigami... cuz I'm a cool kid
So let's seeee...
My zanpakutΕ's name is Sakana no kattΔ meaning Fish Cutter and is basically copied from this sushi knife [link] The name is an obvious reference to sushi, but also an insult to enemies, basically saying they have the intellegence of a fish. It's released form is made of a bunch of scales, and I don't have a bankai... yet, though I'm working on it and it seems to be taking the form of a rather large Koi...
About the Released form~
Depending on the circumstances of the fight it can either be maneuverable like a whip (think Renji's only it can't extend), flatten itself out like a shield to reflect (most) things, or serrated for added umph when slashing etc. Since it's pretty much a fish-made-sword, it gets stronger the closer I am to water or even just in a moist climate, so obviously the opposite is also true... which is why I don't like hot days lol. As a reference, the scales are large not small. think the rough size and shape of the petals in the foreground. The flower in my hair is also made of scales.

That's pretty cool and original and it does make perfect sense
My only question would be how does it get stronger near water/moisture does it get faster, more flexible, grow a little in size, and what hapens when its in hotter climates.
Do the scales have anyhitng to do with your release or are they just part of the background?

uhm, to answer... well all of the above really xD a fish is stringer, faster, and more agile in water than on land ;3 it doesn't get any bigger though. as for hot climates, it's the opposite. Weaker, slower, etc (like me on hot weather LOL). The scales in the picture are just for decoration. When I release, the petals on the flower design of the blade grow to become the scales, and eventually (once i get this whole bankai training thing done
