When I think about it, isn't this whole scenario an episode of The Big Bang Theory?
The babies dressed up as X-Folk to go see the next Iron Man movie.
I must admit, I do miss the piece. I made a custom frame of an old Iron Man comic that I cut up and glued to the frame. So on top of the illustration, the buyer also got the frame.

I wouldn't put it past those guys to go to Iron Man wearing various forms of his armor. Good luck getting Penny to die her hair red and going as Pepper Potts.

Y'know I can actually see these guys going to an event dressed as X-Men.
Sheldon is Cyclops with red sunglasses as he really can't see through that visor.
Leonard as Wolverine with fake sideburns.
Raj in a Nightcrawler suit complete with tail. (And Sheldon's not happy he isn't wearing the ears, fangs and blue body-paint on his face.)
Howard is the world's smallest Colossus, (also not wearing body paint), who speaks really bad Russian.
Enter Penny as the Disco Dazzler, (because she thinks the roller skates are bitchin'), which drives Sheldon over the edge. Disco Dazzler wasn't an X-Man at the time. Dazzler joined when she wore the blue suit. And why didn't she wear the White Queen costume he got her?
Penny's response is unless she's getting paid to model underware she's not going to parade around in public wearing it.
Leonard's response is "Besides we already have one bossy bitch in this group. We don't need another."
As they leave Penny thanks God Dazzler wore a mask. Sheldon corrects her and Penny "shoots" him.
Leonard: "Shot him with a laser beam, huh?"
Penny: "Honey, that was a Magnum."

the colours are pretty limited- which gives a lovely effect and I love your mix of cel shading and smoother tones- very nice!

I try to use a limited palette. In fact, I keep to darker tones as well. This method with texturing brings a photo realistic feel. At least, to me.

It's the raised arm with cup holder. As the three are sitting together, it's actually two theater seats together with the arm raised.

Hm. If I ever revisit it then I will opt not to have it there. I just know for two seats to work I needed that arm rest up. I guess I should have either lumped the babies together or have it divide one/two of them.
