Description
The Sky Father lounges regally on a large cloud, position guarding over the earth belying his position of authority, the sun over head warming his golden, sun-colored fur. Around his neck is a necklace of leaves and flowers from his mate, the Earth Mother (the Empress), and in one paw he wields lightning; the other a trident. He is a father, protector, and leader figure. The lightning represents his will made manifest, his divine weapon of choice used to enforce and create order from chaos. The trident he wields with his other paw symbolizes purifying water, or waves of consciousness, with fire, creating order from it while balancing the flowing abundance that is the Earth Mother (the Empress)'s energies, offering us comfort and security in the order that he establishes.

This card was actually pretty hard to draw- conceptualizing everything while pulling it into the orderly energy that the Sky Father card demanded. ; It came out okay, though, and I still enjoyed it.
