An entry in my "Blooming Romances" series of the RWBY ships.Jaune x Velvet
I think this ship had sooooooo much potential. Think about it, they are both socially awkward, not initially considered battle proficient, and other reason that have only been speculated since we haven't had so much time with Velvet.
Anyway, I think this could have been a really great love triangle between Jaune x Pyrrha x Velvet had Jaune had the balls to stop him. Or Pyrrha for that matter, she voiced out how she hated it . . . (new ship flower idea). I just think this would of been a good canon ship.

(Note that I am only able to do Flowers of ships that I have emblems of the said characters available for. If the characters emblem is not readily known or available to the fandom I can not do a Flower for the pair. But I can mark it down in a note for later in the future when emblem does become known. I love Jaune & Velvet. There was alot of potential for a great story here if Velvet was as shy as she seemed.
For the longest time I had a headcanon that Jaune was gonna step in and stop Cardin from bullying Velvet again and invite her to the lunch table group of RWBY & JNPR, as a way of bringing CFVY(Or what I originally believed to be team VLVT before we knew the rest of them) into the group of friends in Beacon.
Jaunes heroics would naturally cause Velvet to crush hard on Jaune and she eventually would build the nerve to tell him.
