Description This is one of the very first real attempts I made at a 3D image after I tried learning all the ins and outs of Sketchup. The idea was based on a few spaceplane and SSTO ideas I'd seen floating around in articles, but the look of the thing was most inspired by the Gryphon and Skylon spaceplane projects, although I like the idea of methane/oxygen more so than their ideas of hydrogen/oxygen.

This is for a webcomic I am ever so slowly working on. The idea is, it has cameras embedded within depressions covered with transparent plastic around the hull (I've read they've made something like this that's as strong as steel), so no need for the lack of shielded hull around the cockpit by way of windows. That way the crew can travel safely through space on the planet-moon run, or hook up with spaceships for long trips much like the shuttles in Avatar.

I like the overall contours of this ship. Keep it up my man.

I think your design is flawed aerodynamically. Particularly near the leading edge of the wing; there are going to be major hotspots and turbulence where air goes over the wing and catches the two smaller motor cylinders. I get the feeling it would rip itself apart trying to re-enter the atmosphere. With a bit more 3D experience, you might try blending the three separate cylinders into a single fuselage. Not bad for a first attempt, you just need to consider how the air is going to move over it, and where it'll catch on the structure.
