I am using Clip Studio Paint for my drawings but the after effects like blur and stuff, I use photoshop for it. Do you have PS and should I tell you how to do it?

because I wanted to expand the brushes section and I have no idea how to do that.

I never bought or downloaded any brushes but I made them myself but he got some:Β redjuice's Brush Set for CLIP STUDIO PAINT Β he even got a video how he made them but I can't find it right now orz

No problem at all! I find it rather hard to find tutorials and brushed for clip studio/manga studio. I think it is because it is from japan... when I would be able to write japanese I may be more successful in finding brushes and stuff ^^Β° But I see that it is trending here (not asian part of the world lol) as well!
How long are you using Manga studio now and how do you like it? Is it your first drawing program?

ah, i got it in the middle of the summer in 2014, so maybe less then a year...
Β Its not the first drawing program i've used actually, photoshop was my first.
But, in the end, Manga studio is the best for me, even though im still exploring it~

First I used GIMP then SAI and was super happy about the colour blending which PS can't do at all! I am having PS C5 (very old) and maybe by now it can blend colours but I wouldn't bet on that.
I never really drew anything with PS only doing some colour profiling in the end or blur a bit or use some of it's more freaky brushes but I since I am having Manga/Clip Studio I am in love <3
Do you experiment with the brushes? Like turn off colour blending and stuff? It really makes a difference. I am always changing them all the time. You should not be afraid with that, you can always first copy a brush and then go mad with it xD explorer all the possibilitiesΒ

If you would like to I could show you, maybe some kind of life steam so you can respond right to it. I could show you some small stuff. I find it rather hard to find good tutorial on stuff like that because no one really knows about this stuff well enough. I myself would not make an tutorial on it because I am always just experimentingΒ

Sure I can, I could use youtube + hangout so it would be live. Would be the first time is a looong time that I use it (and back then it was just new, much changed) so I would have to test a bit but hopefully it will work. We could chat then or when you do not feel uncomfortable talking we could even make a private hangout, just you and me lolΒ

my uncle is dead. i need to go focus on his funeral and he lives nine hours away and the viewing is tomorrow and so much crap is happening right now.
so give me about a week and a half.
its amazing what can happen in twelve hours

Sure sure! I hope everything is sorted out soon. I never had such an unpleased event happening to me (never went to a funeral ever, everyone in my family got children very early).
