The shading/coloring is quite good on this. I particularly like the few blue feathers and how they curve, sort of like a protective barrier thing... or a wing hug. And Claire's expression is all... pfffft. Lameo angels when is this going to be over with?

to be fair, if i were cas, i'd feel worse about the repeated stabbings, carving sigils into his chest, being exploded, being exploded again, rotting slowly, binging on souls, vomiting them all back up, cramming him full of sea monsters, exploding again, losing his trenchcoat as well as his sunday best, and then marrying him to a strange woman.
i'd think being covered in bees would actually be quite... pleasant, comparatively. if jimmy's even still in there. poor sod.

All that stabbing and sigils are moot because that was all part of the war to stop the apocalypse. I'm talking about all the stuff after he no longer needed meat armor. I agree fully about your leviathans point, but even that was the end result of him trying to beat the bad guys. the marrying is even more to my point. Now whenever a wild hair goes up Castiel's transendental ass poor Jimmy has to go along with it. No more of Cas doing what he must to fight a war. Now it's, I want to stand in a field for eight hours, ain't gonna do that without my meat suit. Come here Jimmy.

I know, and I love Misha. The guy's amazing. I just look at Castiel and wish Jimmy could get in a word or two now and again. Like Cas' craziness making Jimmy slip out every once in a while.
Imagine a scene in Purgatory where Cas and Dean are facing off against some monsters and Dean is like, "Any time now Cas!" Then we hear him say he can't do anything--In Jimmy's voice. The Castiel/Jimmy relationship could develop into a rather interesting partnership. Kinda like Yami and Yugi, but way more awesome.

i had the idea that claire might be able to tune into angel radio after her brief stint as castiel's vessel. and then i thought she might not mind it too much. i mean, demons try to kill your family, heaven abducts your dear old dad, you probably quite enjoy an escape from reality.
also, wings are pretty.

Oh goodness, I wouldn't even know where to begin guessing for who's who. (Do I stay within the angel family or is this among Team Free Will eeuugh.) This is eye-catching though. I love the variety of bird feathers and Claire's flippy hair ends. Her hair's what really grounds this image for me.

I love Claire so much and this is just such a gorgoeus picture. I love all the vaying feathers, although i wouldn't begin to be able to hazard a guess as to who belongs to which ones ^_^

I think her sweatshirt is cool. "Cool" as in cool in temperature. Like when you put on a sweatshirt and it feels cool and nice at first.
(By the way, I have four or five tiny feathers of a blue-jay, blue like the bluest feathers here, which I've found in beech forests and I store in a book. But they have stripes. I can't find your blue feathers in a forest.
