Yanjing/燕京 was elegant city name. It was named after the area and it was meant〝Swallows of birds〟Yanjing was destroyed by civil war in this era, but it developed rapidly after this, governed by the Khitai. More later, a large-scale urban plan was implemented in the Mongolian era. It was almost the same place as now Beijing.

Yeah! This city was very important for living people and the northern nomadic people. It had the ice-free port and the canal for the sea trade. O! more, the some provincial areas Including Yanjin were hard to obey Tang dynasty. ←I would like to sympathize with Tang’s Emperors so much.（×_×）
