Still a WIP, but it's ALMOST finished, so I figured I would post it in case anyone has any comments/suggestions! ^^My hope is to have this done in time to be a print at Anime Boston next weekend. :0
(don't worry, I AM aware that the salute is the other hand, I just had a canvas issue and that will be fixed before I finalize!)

I really love this. The only thing is, the way the hands are straight out in line with the arms makes it look like the hitler salute. I pictured the salute more with the hand straighter up. But anyway really awesome!!!

Yeah....I did want a very propaganda-esque feel to it, but that can have some unfortunate implications! I titled the hands inward just because I thought it looked better compostionally, but I definitely see what you mean about the salute possibly being more upright!

Beautiful... only the salutes of the crowd look a little fascistic because of the angle and the propaganda-poster-influence in the design. Is that intentional?

It was intentional to an extent...I kind of want a propaganda-esque poster aesthetic! It's a bit of a misdirection I guess because the content of the image is positive...obviously we are meant to side with the districts! I didn't want it to be too confusing though, it was just an aesthetic design choice! ^^
