There should definitely be more women writing it but the direction its going in right now is actually okay for me! Korra was the one who initiated the break up with Mako so that's a start. Book three's going to be A+++++ I have hope haha

Finale was insanely underwhelming (IMHO) so I'm not getting my hopes up. I just feel like they don't really know what to do with Korra as a leading character. I think the breakup had less to do with building her up as the Avatar having to make difficult personal choices (I mean, they were basically already broken up when she decided "We need to break up.") and more Mike and Bryan trimming the fat to make writing Book 3 easier. But, we'll see
