The picture is of dark nature, sad and scary in a way. What I see when I look at this piece is two creatures trying to reach each other but fail. As a spell has bounded them into never reaching the other their necks are so stretched out they crack.
It could be a mother and her baby, trying to give the little one the last flower there is.
Although the skin is a little off, I like the muscularity of the horses. Their hair is very well done. I also like that the piece is black and white as this adds to the impact. And the feeling of sadness cover the whole picture.

this is really intersting...I almost wonder how it'd look if you put a bit of color in the rose...but then again it might end up looking too cliche lol x.x love this though
