Description Okay, so this is a work in progress and was *extremely* inspired by a photo I saw here on facebook. Unfortunately, as usual, I can't find the original! ARGH! If you know it (and it will be obvious), please post it here or send it to me or something!

I'm getting so annoyed that when I save photos, they don't always save with the name of the photo or the owner. I don't always notice because I'm delving wholeheartedly into DA and photo names are the last thing I'm paying attention to. I've been searching and after several hours, I still can't find the original photo that inspired this work in progress.

PS:

I'm having issues deciding a colour scheme. I've come down to three options:
1: Earth tones
2. Jewel tones
3. Grey and Red

Please give me your imput!

Hi there! I was browsing through your amazing gallery and opened this great piece. As you ask for someone to help you find the original, I thought I could help!
The girl in the photo is the beautiful deviantART user *Senju-HiMe and this is the link to the photo that inspired you: [link] . Please correct me if I got the wrong reference...
I'm thinking of using it as reference myself but she has so much more astonishing pictures in her gallery it's hard to pick one!

I know what you mean about internet photo references. The stippling technique is divine. It’s a lovely WIP.

Thank you so much! I have a secret to my stippling -- I have severe OCD. I'm treated for it, but the doctors can only do so much. I've tried to take it and transform it into a "useful disorder". Once I get started, I can do a crazy amount of it. It's actually extremely difficult for me to stop! LOL The cool thing is, no matter how much I do, it's hard to screw something up with it. (...and it's sooo much better than cleaning my home till I drop, annoying people with my need to line things up/organize, picking at my skin, washing my hands and face over and over and all the other strange things I do. *snicker*)

I admire your attitude and your resourcefulness in repurposing your OCD behaviors. I have some minor OC issues as well. They are centered on the kitchen & bath areas. Sharing those spaces with family or friends has been a challenge on occasion.

With my artwork, the area must be tidy, organized before I can begin anything. Then I make a mess. Then I MUST clean and tidy up again. If I’m forced by circumstances to leave a mess, I get bummed. I won’t do any art until I get over having left a mess. Eventually I return to the scene of the crime, and begin tidying the art corner again.

Let's both celebrate what some of the stange things we do that add good stuff to the world. One of them is art.

I can't make a mess... ever. If I think things are getting messy, I will stop doing work until it's clean. My PALATE is even clean and free from a wild mess of mixed colours.

...and when it comes to my OCD -- Just call me "Sheldon". *snicker*

Ha Ha! Don't get to watch Big Bang anymore. My TV watching is a binge and purge experience. A few random hours and I'm good for days without it. Plus I work nights. I do miss Sheldon, the gang and Buzzinga.
